سُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِیۡۤ اَسۡرٰی بِعَبۡدِهٖ لَیۡلًا مِّنَ الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَرَامِ اِلَی الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡاَقۡصَا الَّذِیۡ بٰرَکۡنَا حَوۡلَهٗ لِنُرِیَهٗ مِنۡ اٰیٰتِنَا ؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِیۡعُ الۡبَصِیۡرُ
সূরা আল-ইসরা (১৭), আয়াত ১:
অনুবাদ: পবিত্র ও মহিমাময় তিনি যিনি তাঁর বান্দাকে রাতে ভ্রমণ করিয়েছিলেন মাসজিদুল হারাম হতে মাসজিদুল আকসায়, যার পরিবেশ আমি করেছিলাম বারাকাতময়, তাকে আমার নিদর্শন দেখানোর জন্য; তিনিই সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বদ্রষ্টা।
Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
وَ النَّجۡمِ اِذَا هَوٰی
অনুবাদ: কসম নক্ষত্রের, যখন তা অস্ত যায়।
By the star when it descends,
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُکُمۡ وَ مَا غَوٰی ۚ
অনুবাদ: তোমাদের সঙ্গী বিভ্রান্ত নয়, বিপথগামীও নয়,
Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred,
وَ مَا یَنۡطِقُ عَنِ الۡهَوٰی
অনুবাদ: আর সে মনগড়া কথা বলে না।
Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination.
اِنۡ هُوَ اِلَّا وَحۡیٌ یُّوۡحٰی
অনুবাদ: তাতো ওয়াহী যা তার প্রতি প্রত্যাদেশ করা হয়,
It is not but a revelation revealed,
عَلَّمَهٗ شَدِیۡدُ الۡقُوٰی
অনুবাদ: তাকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছে প্রবল শক্তিধর,
Taught to him by one intense in strength
ذُوۡ مِرَّۃٍ ؕ فَاسۡتَوٰی
অনুবাদ: প্রজ্ঞা সম্পন্ন; সে নিজ আকৃতিতে স্থির হয়েছিল,।
One of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form
وَ هُوَ بِالۡاُفُقِ الۡاَعۡلٰی
অনুবাদ: আর সে ছিল ঊর্ধ্ব দিগন্তে,
While he was in the higher [part of the] horizon.
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلّٰی
অনুবাদ: তারপর সে নিকটবর্তী হল, অতঃপর আরো কাছে এলো।
Then he approached and descended
فَکَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَیۡنِ اَوۡ اَدۡنٰی
অনুবাদ: ফলে তাদের মধ্যে দুই ধনুকের ব্যবধান রইল, অথবা তারও কম।
And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer.
فَاَوۡحٰۤی اِلٰی عَبۡدِهٖ مَاۤ اَوۡحٰی
অনুবাদ: তখন আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দার প্রতি যা অহী করার তা অহী করলেন।
And he revealed to His Servant what he revealed.
مَا کَذَبَ الۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَاٰی
অনুবাদ: সে যা দেখেছে, অন্তকরণ সে সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলেনি।
The heart did not lie [about] what it saw.
اَفَتُمٰرُوۡنَهٗ عَلٰی مَا یَرٰی
অনুবাদ: সে যা দেখেছে তোমরা কি সে বিষয়ে তার সংগে বিতর্ক করবে?
So will you dispute with him over what he saw?
وَ لَقَدۡ رَاٰهُ نَزۡلَۃً اُخۡرٰی
অনুবাদ: নিশ্চয়ই সে তাকে আরেকবার দেখেছিল।
And he certainly saw him in another descent.
عِنۡدَ سِدۡرَۃِ الۡمُنۡتَهٰی
অনুবাদ: সিদরাতুল মুনতাহার নিকট,
At the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary,
عِنۡدَهَا جَنَّۃُ الۡمَاۡوٰی
অনুবাদ: যার নিকট অবস্থিত বাসোদ্যান।
Near it is the Garden of Refuge
اِذۡ یَغۡشَی السِّدۡرَۃَ مَا یَغۡشٰی
অনুবাদ: যখন বৃক্ষটি, যদ্বারা আচ্ছাদিত হবার তদ্বারা ছিল আচ্ছাদিত,
When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it].
مَا زَاغَ الۡبَصَرُ وَ مَا طَغٰی
অনুবাদ: তার দৃষ্টি বিভ্রম হয়নি, দৃষ্টি লক্ষ্যচ্যূতও হয়নি।
The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit].
لَقَدۡ رَاٰی مِنۡ اٰیٰتِ رَبِّهِ الۡکُبۡرٰی
অনুবাদ: নিশ্চয় সে তার রবের বড় বড় নিদর্শনসমূহ থেকে দেখেছে।
He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.
